In compliance with Meta's Platform Policy and applicable data protection laws, BondhuBot provides clear mechanisms for you to request deletion of your data. This page explains how to exercise your deletion rights.
How to Request Deletion
If you have messaged Bondhu Labs' Facebook Page through BondhuBot, you can request deletion of your data through either of the following methods:
- Email us directly at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your Facebook name so we can locate your conversation.
- Use Facebook's app settings to remove BondhuBot from your connected apps. Go to Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites → find BondhuBot → Remove.
Facebook Data Deletion Callback
BondhuBot implements Meta's Data Deletion Request Callback. When you remove BondhuBot from your Facebook app settings, we automatically receive a deletion request and process it within 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation URL to check the status of your deletion request.
Technical Implementation
Our data deletion callback endpoint is registered with Meta at:
- Callback URL: https://bondhubot.com/api/meta/data-deletion
- Status URL format: https://bondhubot.com/deletion-status?id={confirmation_code}
What Gets Deleted
- Your Facebook User ID (page-scoped identifier)
- All conversation messages between you and Bondhu Labs' Facebook Page
- Profile information (name, profile picture) stored by BondhuBot
- Any order or return request data associated with your conversations
- Any personalization preferences derived from your interactions
What Is Retained
- Aggregated, de-identified analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
- Data required to be retained by applicable law, regulation, or legal process
- Data necessary to complete pending transactions (e.g., undelivered orders)
Processing Timeline
- Deletion requests: processed within 48 hours
- Legal hold exceptions: data retained only as long as legally required
You will receive confirmation via email once the deletion is complete.
